Tina's Bae Faves: April 2019 edition

I’m back, back again with a list of what I’ve currently been loving this spring, particularly in the month of April. No nonsense—here they are below! xoxo, T

1. Glossier’s Boy Brow

I love this stuff. I am always drawn to using a pencil or a powder, but I am also always looking for the easiest and quickest way to fill in my brows. Boy Brow by Glossier is the answer—the wand is small enough for me to control where the product goes, but big enough to do the job in just a couple swipes.

Glossier is my favorite brand of the moment, can’t you tell? I got the cloud paint in the color “Beam,” which Glossier describes as a “soft peach.” Like Boy Brow, it’s a quick and easy way to add some color to my cheeks. I blend it in after applying my tinted moisturizer, set it with a powder, and that’s my face for the day. #efficient

I’m making a big career change in June, and this means I get to ditch Google Calendar and go back to my old paper planner days. This planner has been my HG since I discovered it—I think I’ve purchased about six of them over the years. I branched out this year and got the green version instead of the black version, and have been enjoying it (and my new sticker packs) all month!

I’ve always had issues with bloating, which has been really frustrating and uncomfortable. Cutting out most gluten seemed to help, but I still get a little puffy as the day goes on. I tried 1st Phorm’s Opti-Greens, but that didn’t help much and I could do without the taste. I take this supplement at night, and it makes me feel (and look) much more comfortable the next morning!

Anxiety has been my middle name lately, with all the big life changes going on in my career, program, and overall life! I started taking CBD supplements a few months ago, and have noticed a huge change in my overall feelings of anxiety. Since I’ve started taking these Cured gelcaps, I’ve felt much more calm and less irritated, and I also have been sleeping better.

I saw these jeans on one of my besties last month, and immediately had to have them (literally—I ordered them 15 minutes later on the drive to Multnomah Falls when we were in Portland). They are the perfect light wash, tight and loose in all the right places, great rip placement, button fly, and only $35. The denim is also super soft, so I feel like I’m wearing really fashionable sweatpants. They’re advertised as “low rise,” but I can definitely pull off a crop top in these without feeling too naked.

My OG Vans in white leather. Enough said. New faves.

See you soon for our next edition of Bae Faves! :)
